NuSPACES project meeting & online catch-up with Associate Partners
The NuSPACES project team gathered at Linköping University (Sweden), 6-8 December 2022, to exchange updates, to discuss research papers and to plan future activities.
Project team met online with associate partners from Sweden, Lithuania and the UK, 7 December 2022. Each participant briefly shared updates on what has happened since the May meeting in West Cumbria and discussed themes and questions to be addressed in the planned Handbook of Nuclear Cultural Heritage.
The meeting included two presentations. Prof Thomas Kaiserfeld (Linköping University) presented the history of nuclear power in Sweden. Curators Magdalena Tafvelin Heldner and Peter Du Rietz (Swedish National Museum of Science and Technology) presented the handbook for documenting industry & reflections from their work on documenting Ågesta NPP.
Online catch-up was concluded by the Planning for the Second Participatory Workshop in Sweden, 8-12 May 2023.
