Linda Ross participated in the American Society for Environmental History Conference

On 23 March 2023 Linda Ross spoke at the American Society for Environmental History (https://aseh.org/) annual conference in Boston. Her paper, titled ‘nuclear cultural heritage: from energy past to heritage future’, placed the topic within the wider framework of the histories of low carbon energy. She introduced the topic to a keen new audience of environmental historians, and is in the early stages of co-authoring an article with her fellow panellists.

The international research project "The Nuclear Spaces: Communities, Materialities and Locations (NuSPACES)" invites to the final report launch and discussion which will gather scholars and practitioners to discuss the future of nuclear cultural heritage in the context of social change.

Egle Rindzeviciute participated in a fieldtrip to Onkalo

On 26-29 May 2024, Egle Rindzeviciute participated in a fieldtrip organised by Prof Ele Carpenter at Umeå University, as part of the Nuclear Culture Research Group. The trip was funded by a grant from the Swedish Research Council and gathered Prof Susan Schuppli (Goldsmiths), Alex Ressel (Griffith) and Erich Berger (Oulu).
